Moving on to bigger and better things

Well, I know its been a long time since I have written on here but lots of things have happened in the last few months. First, my relaxing trip to Vegas it was a blast. Second we are moving to South Pekin. O.K I know you are wondering why South Pekin so I shall explain. We found out about this great house out there. Yes it looks a little funny from the outside but that is because it used to be an old tavern. Inside you would be amazed. Not only are there four bedrooms,but I also have a dining room and huge kitchen and nice little patio area with a old built in brick grill. Here is the best part the kitchen still has the old bar from the tavern. I will take pics so you have a better idea of what I am talking about. Here is the only sad part about my move we can only keep one dog. My best friend from out here is going to take Mariah but it is quite sad for me. I feel like I am abandoning her just to have a bigger house. I know she will be in good hands, but it doesn't make it any easier for me. Anyhow the kids are mostly pretty excited to move especially Haley. She gets her own room and its pink. What more could she ask for? I was surprised that Desiree was taking moving so well. I thought she would be mad at me but she isn't. She seems just as excited as everyone else. My lord I never realized how much stuff we had till I had to start packing it up. Well, I will get off here for now gotta get ready for the cable guy at the new place. I will take pics while I am there. BTW new address is P.O box 304 South Pekin, Illinois 61564.

Well it's official i'm old. I now have a bonified teenager. Can you believe it I sure can't. Today is my day to play taxi driver for four teen/preteen girls what fun. LOL. As if my life isn't crazy enough already. Desiree decided she wanted a night with the girls for her birthday so how could I say no. A funfilled night for her and the girls roller skating the night away. I seem to remember those days when I was a teenager. I couldn't wait for the weekend to be able to go to Sunnyland Skate rink. Even worse now I have 2 daughters that are becoming boy crazy. Lord give me strength. Otherwise nothing too exciting here just looking forward to going to Vegas in June. I'll need the vacation after this semester is over. Bad thing is I still have another year maybe 2 of school left. Jen you would be proud because it looks like another semester on the Deans list. I laughed when I got my little award in the mail last semester. I would have never thought I would get upset if i got a b on a test. Which believe it or not doesn't happen much. I will try and take some pics of the kids this week so you can see how grown up they have gotten. Gotta go I have a long day ahead of me.

Willey family drama

Well guess what. As usual if you are in the Willey family someone always has to cause drama. Janice calls me today and tells me Bryan called. I know, I know here comes the drama. She said Bryan called and needed dad's number. OK no big deal right? Wrong. Janice calls mom to make sure she gave him the correct number. Still no biggie. Well just when she is thinking nothing of the call, mom says did Bryan tell ya why he called? Of course she has no idea what mom is talking about because why would she ask Bryan what he needed the number for. nor would I because we are not nosey. He would have told her if he wanted her to know. herein lies the problem now both Janice and i are worried sick. Being cryptic helps no one. My guess is it is something simple like the last time this happened. That time was just that Bryan was gonna get the chance to be in the color guard at a NFL game. I suppose sometimes to some people this would be exciting. To other people things like this are worrisome when you have family in the military. Well enough with my rant. Things are going well here in Spring Bay. The flood waters are receding and we had no damage to our home. Other people we know were not so lucky. Our neighbor next door hasn't had hot water in days. They have a really bad landlord who will not return their calls, to make matters worse the husband has lost his job and they do not have the money for repairs. Some people we know have toilets that refuse to flush. This is a disadvantage of septic systems. I must say our family is blessed. We have been quite lucky and finances are looking up. We were afraid for awhile that they never would. Well to brighten your I'm gonna post some kooky pics of the kids with this. I will write again soon.

Well, i thought i would try this out. This could be one way to let people that are far away to know what is going on here. Not much too exciting is happening here except the flood. I've taken some pictures for you to see. isn't it beautiful. well will write again soon
